Kamenitza Pool & Gym is more than a fitness facility. Located in one of Plovdiv's most vibrant districts, built upon layers of history, it brings together sport, recreation, and community under one roof. We had the challenge to create its identity by respecting its heritage but pushing it into a more contemporary direction.

The visual system is inspired by the meaning of the “layers”. It was built around a flexible graphic language combining waves, motion paths, and the geometry of athletic performance. We came up with a custom typeface idea that was further developed by Pavel Pavlov from FOMO Type. The bold custom typography creates a strong and confident presence, while an elegant palette with vibrant accents reinforces the connection between energy and well-being.
Throughout the facility, the identity extends into the physical environment through wayfinding, motivational messaging, and branded spatial elements. The goal was to ensure that visitors experience the brand not only through communication materials but also through the architecture and atmosphere of the space itself.
